Operation Candlelight: How we help our Communities
Operation Candlelight is simple. This initiative embodies the philosophy that a little good
can truly make a big difference. Through Operation Candlelight, we proactively seek out
ways to bring assistance to the underprivileged and underserved in our communities.
From helping underprivileged children pay for school lunches, helping surgical teams
travel to Guatemala or assisting Veterans get home to family during a family emergency,
through Operation Candlelight, we proactively seek out ways to help those that need it.
The Do A Little Good Foundation was honored to help a surgical team travel to
Guatemala to support the amazing work of Faith In Practice
(https://www.faithinpractice.org/). Together, we helped provide life-saving surgeries to
impoverished children.
In response to a plea from a North Texas Elementary School, we stepped in to address
the overdue school lunch accounts of underprivileged children. Do A Little Good
Foundation paid the overdue accounts of over 100 children ensuring they can continue
to enjoy daily school lunches without the burden of debt.
Our commitment to community well-being extends beyond immediate needs. Do A Little
Good Foundation recently collaborated with North Texas churches and synagogues,
providing them with comprehensive safety and security plans. Additionally, we offered
training to their security teams on active shooter response, empowering them to keep
their congregations and members safe.
